The South Latam People Partner at VTEX plays a pivotal role in collaborating with leaders to achieve strategic growth objectives through effective people management. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing expert advice to leaders on designing and executing comprehensive people strategies to drive growth, encompassing performance management, leadership development, rewards and compensation, talent acquisition, conflict resolution, onboarding, offboarding, culture development, and employee relations.
- Embodying VTEX's culture and advocating for its principles in every action and decision, fostering a culture of inclusivity and respect.
- Partnering with leaders and people partners to identify business needs and develop tailored people solutions to address them.
- Creating an inclusive and respectful work environment that enables individuals to reach their full potential.
- Recruiting and hiring top talent to build a world-class team.
- Establishing trusted relationships with key leaders and stakeholders to influence people strategy.
- Designing and supporting change management plans, including organizational design, reorganizations, succession planning, leadership assimilation, and transition.
- Providing precise feedback to leverage leadership performance.
- Translating crises into high-level conversations.
- Ensuring that VTEX's desired future guides all team actions in the present.
- Acting as a trusted confidant for employees, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Ensuring that people processes, including hiring, performance management, termination, benefits, and compensation, are aligned with local laws.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience as a People Partner in e-commerce or tech environments.
- Strong prior experience and background in HR/People.
- Based in South Latam (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in business partnering with a deep understanding of organizational dynamics and talent management principles.
- A keen eye for detail and a preference for structured problem-solving frameworks.
- A high level of self-awareness, leveraging self-reflection to adapt approach to diverse people, styles, and contexts.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- A skilled and effective communicator, proficient in written and oral forms, in Portuguese or Spanish and English.
