Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate IP-related contracts, including licensing agreements and trademark assignments.
- Conduct thorough legal research to identify potential IP risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business needs with IP requirements.
- Develop and refine internal policies to ensure alignment with IP and regulatory standards.
- Support dispute resolution through negotiation, mediation, or litigation management as necessary.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional legal experience, focusing on IP law and technology law.
- Expertise in IP law, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents.
- Experience working as an in-house lawyer or with US-based outsourcing software development companies.
- Exceptional skills in legal research, drafting, and negotiation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Law Insider, Jira, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in remote or hybrid working environments.
- English level - Fluent.
