We are seeking a skilled Business Valuations Specialist to join our Disputes and Valuations practice within Risk Advisory.
Your primary responsibility will be to provide expert support in commercial litigation, business valuations, and other areas, working closely with our team of experienced professionals.
You will have extensive knowledge of financial and data analysis techniques and be able to apply this expertise to assist clients in addressing complex challenges.
The role involves a range of tasks, including financial damage analysis, lost profits determination, valuations of businesses, securities, intellectual property, and other intangible assets, drafting expert reports, testifying, and assessing work performed by independent auditors.
You will be responsible for researching and analyzing factors affecting litigation damages or valuation, developing and assessing projections and forecasts, creating financial models incorporating valuation theory, reviewing audit working papers for compliance with professional standards, and communicating with clients and colleagues in written and oral form.
Additionally, you will create and manage large data sets, applying statistical analysis, prepare supporting materials for litigation and valuation reports, and perform quality control review over work product.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related field.
- Chartered Financial Analyst, master's in business administration, or finance and other relevant certifications viewed favorably (CFA 1, CFA 2).
- Minimum of two years of work-related experience.
- Ability to prepare or learn to prepare valuation financial analysis and cash flow analyses.
- Well-developed analytical abilities.
