Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications Manager to join our team at BAT. As a key member of our Corporate Affairs department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans to support our business objectives.

Your primary focus will be on external communications, working closely with the Head of CORA to manage corporate affairs campaigns and media engagement. You will also contribute to developing strategic plans for vaping and regulatory campaigns, as well as developing corporate and marketing communication campaigns in line with our corporate brand guidelines.

In addition to external communications, you will also be responsible for internal communications, organizing and developing internal communication campaigns through our platforms to deliver the company's key messages in line with our corporate narrative: A Better Tomorrow.

You will work closely with various teams, including Marketing, HR, OPS, and EHS, to detect and generate content, and manage and work closely with the external designer team in line with our corporate brand guidelines.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering ESG results in our annual survey, and establishing strong relationships with various NGOs and other external parties to drive ESG campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic communications plans to support business objectives
  • Manage corporate affairs campaigns and media engagement
  • Contribute to developing strategic plans for vaping and regulatory campaigns

  • Organize and develop internal communication campaigns through our platforms
