The AWS Latin America Engagement team is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Program Manager to shape and implement the communication strategy and long-term objectives for our Leadership team in the Latin American region.
Role Responsibilities:As the Program Manager, you will leverage your expertise in communications, leadership, and sales to take full ownership of the initiatives. You will establish the long-term vision and guiding principles that inform our strategies.
This role involves close collaboration with LATAM's Leadership Team, Public Relations, Analyst Relations, and Marketing to assess, devise, and enhance strategies aimed at improving both internal and external communications for AWS LATAM.
Frequent interaction with AWS leadership is a key aspect of this position. Your career should reflect a proven executive presence, outstanding interpersonal abilities, and a strong capacity to influence stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and manage the content strategy for the assigned business unit, collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish key themes, messages, and communication channels.
- Build and maintain proactive relationships with essential internal stakeholders across various business sectors and regions.
- Transform complex business subjects into clear communication strategies that foster engagement among AWS employees.
The LATAM AGS Engagement Team is responsible for key areas including: Leadership team strategy and alignment, customer engagement, sales collaboration, executive communications development, management of special projects, ensuring cross-AWS collaboration, and serving as cultural ambassadors.
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or Public Relations.
- Over 7 years of experience in executive or internal communications, ideally within a high-growth technology environment.
- Proficient in managing communication campaigns across digital platforms, such as LinkedIn.
- Experience in managing global stakeholders and navigating diverse cultural contexts.
- Strong leadership capabilities.
- A genuine eagerness to learn and explore new ideas.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
- Experience in comprehensive event planning and execution, with meticulous attention to detail and time management.
- Proven track record in developing executive-level communications across various formats (e.g., blogs, presentations, whitepapers).
- Experience in leading communications within sales or marketing functions.
- Ability to drive cultural transformation and influence organizations through effective communication strategies, including audience analysis and success metrics tracking.
- Experience in creating and implementing communication plans.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
- Proficient in creating diverse content types: digital, written, video, or visual communication materials.
