Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Leader to join our team in Neuquén. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth in the Shale oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to penetrate new accounts and expand existing business in the Shale oil and gas sector.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including End Users, Operators, and EPCs.
  • Work closely with account leaders in Argentina and global accounts to identify new business opportunities.
  • Represent Emerson in Neuquén and support customer operations in both Conventional and non-Conventional O&G areas.
  • Supervise all main projects and get involved in project pursuit activities.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Emerson's product portfolio and be able to communicate its value to customers.
  • Work with other areas to ensure excellence in operations through coordination with execution team, logistics, and finance.
  • Participate in local O&G associations and activities, such as IAPG Neuquén, and engage with high-level management.
  • Perform face-to-face contact with key customers to build positive relationships and gather early sales-related information.
Requirements
  • Strong leadership and sales management abilities.
  • Engineering degree or similar, with specialization in instrumentation, valves, and process control.
  • Experience leading sales efforts, projects, and strategies implementation, closing alliances or agreements.
  • Availability to travel constantly, visiting clients and oilfields, seeking out new business while maintaining and growing on existing business.
  • Proficient in English and Spanish.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preferred plus years in sales.
  • Preferred working experience with O&G Operators and/or Engineering Contractors.
