Corporate Emotional Support Specialist

The Corporate Emotional Support Specialist plays a vital role in promoting mental well-being within the organization. This position involves providing emotional support, facilitating mental health resources, and fostering a positive workplace culture in a remote work environment. The specialist will work closely with employees, managers, and HR to address emotional health concerns and develop supportive programs.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Emotional Support**:
- Provide one-on-one emotional support to employees experiencing stress, anxiety, or other mental health challenges, primarily in a virtual setting.
- Act as a confidential resource for employees to discuss personal and professional concerns through various communication platforms.
**2. Program Development**:
- Propose development programs for new admin staff and leadership, with a focus on enhancing emotional intelligence, resilience, and support structures within the company. These programs would align with our broader initiatives to create a healthier and more engaged workforce.
- Conduct virtual training sessions for employees and management on recognizing signs of emotional distress and promoting mental well-being in a remote context.
- Develop educational materials and resources on mental health topics suitable for online distribution.
**3. Crisis Management**:
- Respond to crisis situations and provide immediate support as needed, utilizing virtual communication tools.
- Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement crisis intervention strategies suitable for remote employees.
**4. Feedback and Improvement**:
- Gather feedback from remote employees to assess the effectiveness of true service environment surveys
- Analyze data and trends related to employee feedback regarding leadership and propose improvements to better serve a remote workforce.
**5. Support Human Capital**:
- Implement profiles and Job descriptions for any existing or new positions, along with psychometrical and cognitive test for prescreening.
- Lead interviews, for high season hiring, suitable for taking back-to-back calls and Messaging interactions according to profile.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in clinical psychology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in mental health or emotional support (e.g., Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Employee Assistance Professional).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience in counseling, coaching, or human resources is a plus.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and discretion.
**Skills**:
- Excellent listening and communication skills, particularly in virtual environments.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Knowledge of mental health issues and resources.
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and remote teams.
- Intermediate MS Office
**Working Conditions**:
- Full-time position with flexible hours to accommodate employees' needs in a remote work environment.
