**Position Title**: Financial Planning Senior Analyst

**Location**: Buenos Aires, ARG or Santiago de Chile, CHL

**Reports to**: Finance SoCo Sr. Manager
As the
**Financial Planning Senior Analyst** you will be responsible for providing meaningful analytical support for business planning in Soco Region, coordinating and developing the annual Budget and periodical Forecasts related to all country overheads, including Corporate supporting areas from a "One Newell" perspective. The position is also responsible for becoming a local reference for the development of Powerbi reports and tools for Soco in all business segments. The individual should be comfortable communicating proactively and independently with all levels of the organization and able to develop positive relationships in order to gather information and influence decision-making process.

**Specific responsibilitie**s will include but are not limited to:

- Responsible for budget preparation, forecasting and planning cycle through the collection of information from all areas of the company into a One Newell perspective, to consolidate it and generate financial projections, as well as the analysis of monthly variations and explanations vs. actual results.
- In charge of providing support and being the financial partner of the senior leaders of the main corporate areas of Newell Brands for the Soco Region, which includes: GBS Financial Services, HR, IT, Legal, Real Estate & Other administration.
- Analyze the whole Corporate P&L and make sure that all expenses are properly allocated by business/segments and all accruals have been properly calculated and booked.
- Collaborate with the Accounting team in monthly and quarterly closes, analyzing and requestioning necessary accruals.
- Prepare closing decks on a monthly basis including comments upon meaningfull variations vs estimates for the Senior Manager to present results in the accounting close meetings (D+4).
- Review and analyze financial statements and interpreting financial data to be used in management presentations and decision-making. Working as a business partner to assist the GM and the local Management team and support them with initiatives to improve productivity in overhead expenses management.
- Become the local liaison for the development, enhancements and promotion of the tools and reports in Powerbi with the aim of fostering profitable growth in Soco Region. The main tools to be developed are focused on having information on margins at SKU, customer and channels level. Besides, track inventory projections and E&O analysis.
- Monitor all OH expenses of the company vs budgetary control by cost center through the authorization of expenses previously included in the forecast, with the intent of keeping expenses aligned with the budget.
- Responsible for determining, updating, executing and budgeting the allocation criteria between segments in relation to the expenses of functions that provide services indistinctly to more than one segment (One Newell).
- Upload monthly Forecasts and Budget to the reporting system (EPM Oracle Cloud) for consolidation purposes.
- Support country BDS Coordinators in the preparation of monthly business review decks.
- Develop and update meaningful metrics and reporting tools that facilitate decision-making (KPI and Dashboards).
- Prepare weekly reports required by Regional/Corporate teams.
- Support the management team with significant expense request approvals (OAR) or Capital appropriation requests (CAR) for the areas under its scope.
- Track all Overheads and costs by employee and maintain monthly files by cost center, and generate all corporate reporting requests.
- Interact with the HR BP to accrurately estimate changes in People costs by function and identify deviations.
- Simulate specific business scenarios and provide ad-hoc analysis and reports.
- To function as a designated backup of the BDS coordinator for each country.
