About this job:
Olive oil sectors, both production and by-product processing, are quite important areas of food and beverage industry that continues with its expansion in Iberian Peninsula. This market is in full transformation to increase yield and quality as well as energy efficiency and circular economy solutions. We are looking for a proactive new sales business developer ready to challenge olive oil customers to boost their transformation process with Alfa Laval innovative technological solutions.
She/he will manage the new sales business in olive oil market. The objective is the promotion of equipment, decanters and vertical separators and complete lines for the extraction of olive oil. The product that Alfa Laval offers is a product of value and quality, with innovative solutions, adapted to the needs of each customer, with the objective that they obtain a quality product and achieve maximum profitability of their extraction process.
She/he will be responsible for Iberica region, Spain and Portugal. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Analyze and understand market insights and customers buying behavior to make & implement business division strategy and targets by implementing sales plans.- Be active in the market making visits, meetings, seminars, exhibitions, with multichannel perspective focusing on key customer needs understanding and selling them our product portfolio direct and indirectly.- Engage & build networking with agents and central organization in order to get necessary support to drive service business.- Look for and manage leads from the market and customers and convert them in real business opportunities in order to ensure the pipeline.

Job requirements:
- Industrial Engineering degree (preferred) or similar- Strong and solid commercial orientation with, preferably, at more than 5 years’ experience in technical sales, in Agro-industrial sector- Spanish, and English speaker- Resident in Córdoba area, preferably.- The position is located in our offices in Córdoba- Availability to travel in Spain and Portugal frequently.
