Under the guidance of the US Capability Center located in Tampa, FL USA the LATAM People Services Specialist is a member of the Human Resources organization.

This role is responsible for supporting the operational activities for LATAM countries (Argentina, Chile, Columbia, Mexico, Peru) particularly those that require an onsite presence to complete.

The LATAM People Services Specialist shall be seen as credible and trusted operational support for the respective countries, delivering results with integrity, sharing information appropriately, and building trustworthy relationships.

**Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to**:

- Coordinate activities of third party providers ensuring optimal delivery against the service level agreement and remedial management of the providers when services of the provider are not met within the KPIs.
- Act as a key liaison pulling through activities between the local markets and the Capability Center located in Tampa. Provide local insights into market practices from a cultural and legislation perspective and play a key role in highlighting legislation changes impacting activities executed by the Capability Center.
- Drive continuous improvement of processes and identify where there are opportunities to eliminate activities which are no longer required or do not add value.
- Raise issues and opportunities for improvement liaising with the accountable parties.
- Have an excellent understanding of LATAM market-specific employment legislation to provide context and offer advice on how this applies to various situations for our workforce and processes. Ensure accurate policy representation in interconnected systems/processes and directly contribute to develop end-to-end processes which support HR operations.
- Organize relevant process and facilitate execution of necessary documentation of employees’ benefits within the region, in liaise with accountable parties or external local providers.
- Provide support ensuring appropriate execution and processing of HR documents required by local legislation in the region, with efficient and seamless co-ordination with the Capability Center for consistent management and processing.
- Provide insights and bring cultural context to the Total Rewards within the local environment in collaboration with Capability Center peers.
- Where Direct Access information was not sufficient, the HR Advisors provide the workforce with responses related their HR inquiry or guide them regarding the necessary HR transactions.
- Perform intake of HR inquiries via multiple channels including case systems, chat or telephony (for urgent matters).
- Use discretion and sound judgement to select the best method of resolution.
- Provide employees, managers, and HRBPs with policy and process advice, (i.e. ways of working, small org design, etc.), work through options with the customer, and coach through resolution via the case management system.
- Guide employees and managers to available resources relevant to the Region and any applicable Global policies (i.e. toolkits, SOPs, process details or training materials) as appropriate, providing detailed explanation when necessary.
- Triage inquiry to ensure full understanding and engage appropriate functional HR teams as appropriate to drive resolution of customer needs which require deep specialized support beyond the HR generalist knowledge
- Directly participate in enhancement and improvement of the myBMS content/FAQs and Local Work Instructions (LWIs) based on the feedback received via case resolution in collaboration with functional teams, COE or HRBPs
- Provide high touch customer service that meets expected service levels and business performance goals.
- Champion direct access processes by using change management skills to influence Managers and Employees.
- Provide feedback on customer issues and the knowledgebase.
- Coordinate and provide data for external and internal audits.
- Embed and continuously enforce the HR operating model, ensuring clarity of how, when and where the HR activities will be managed, ensuring a ”oneHR” approach.
- Execute any other reasonable HR administration tasks required to support the HR team.
