Your mission Will be to

  1. Be a leader in scientific knowledge for the products and therapeutic areas for which they are responsible.
  2. Ensure ongoing knowledge of latest clinical and scientific developments in radiology.
  3. Development of medical affairs strategy and implementation thereof for responsible region-country/ies.
  4. Collaboration across internal stakeholders.
  5. Support business growth and compliance across the assigned radiology product portfolio.
  6. Contribute to medical assessment on new products in development and/or being considered for in-licensing/acquisition.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relations with thought leaders by demonstrating strong scientific rigor and leadership presence in the radiology category. Develop Thought Leader engagement plans.
  8. Support for new product launches including development, revision and approval of materials needed for sales training, Advisory Boards, Investigator Sponsored trials and other medical activities.
  9. Provide support in the development of materials and their review.
  10. Responsible for other types of data generation, e.g. RWE, HEOR/DGOS etc.
  11. Contribute to review of product related communications and press releases and other materials as per local SOPs.
  12. Contribute with medical/scientific expertise/input to post approval regulatory required trials by the Health Authorities.
  13. Participate in Health Authority activities as required for their category.
  14. Participate in Radiology Americas Medical Affairs meetings and relevant activities.
  15. Participate in initiatives that focus on improved processes, tools, outcomes with the goal of making Bayer efficient yet compliant.
  16. Manage the budget for Medical Affairs Radiology for the category in the region-countries.
  17. Have oversight of Medical Governance for Radiology in the Region-country/ies for which they are responsible.

Unlock your Potential

  1. A degree of Medical Doctor with board certification (e.g., MD), preferably a specialist in Radiology or Internal Medicine and higher degree of education is also welcome (e.g., MgSc and/or PhD).
  2. 5+ years of experience in clinical research and development or medical affairs or related businesses (exception - Medical Experience in the Radiology field may also be recognized as equivalent experience).
  3. A thorough knowledge of company policies and procedures in drug testing is desirable.
  4. Demonstrated originality in problem solving as applied to drug development.
  5. Skills and experience in dealing with government officials.
  6. High level of proficiency in English.
  7. Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels within Bayer.
  8. Thorough knowledge of scientific information with the ability to interpret and assimilate scientific data.
  9. Good understanding of the key pre-clinical and clinical trial design elements, including statistical considerations, operations, and interpretation of these activities as well as regulatory requirements.

Location: Argentina. Full Time role. Available to travel within Argentina and internationally.
