World Economic Forum post.**By showing companies the business case for mitigating water risk, Waterplan accelerates the transition to a world where companies are incentivized to save more water, abate the discharge of polluting effluents, conserve watersheds and preserve shared value.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Partnership Specialist to join the Customer Success Team at Waterplan.


You will work in a fully remote distributed team across multiple disciplines at a science-oriented company, in the Partnership's team which is part of the strategic growth for the following years, and is at the center of clients' water offsets and environmental impact.

About your core focus
We are looking for early sales hires in LATAM who want to bring Waterplan to more organizations.

Every year, 30% more companies launch and report climate water resilience programs globally (Source:
CDP Water Security).

Your mission will be to create and expand Waterplan's network of partners in different parts of the globe and nurture existing ones.

You will build long-term customer relationships with local and global organizations that aim to deploy water management and conservation projects and are looking for funding sources which Waterplan's clients are able to provide.


You will:

  • Sell Waterplan. Be proactively creative to find new global and local partner opportunities, expand Waterplan presence globally within these organizations, build longterm relationships and share how Waterplan can support their "waterpositive" projects by raising funds through our marketplace and client base. Find new market segments for Waterplan's Partnership team.
  • Help write our partnership's playbook and share market feedback with the Waterplan team. Inform Waterplan product strategy by sharing insights from partners on the front line.
  • Lead your sessions with potential partners by being 100% owner and responsible of your targets, by meeting new leads and current clients.
  • Become a water expert and raise awareness around the fastgrowing impact of solutions against the global water crisis.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Track record of outbound sales or roles with external stakeholder management (i.e. fundraising, customer success, consultancy, among others). + 3 years experience
  • You are a good listener and consultative seller, able to listen to and understand clients' challenges and help them achieve their goals.
  • Excited about the early days of a startup, learning from customers, informing product strategy, refining the partnership's playbook, and thinking of innovative ways to tell the Waterplan story.
  • Skilled communicator. Passionate about the environment and water.
  • A team player with experience selling products in complex and technical fields. Excited to learn about the environment and water and relentlessly curious.
  • Have a track record of doing whatever it takes to get things done. You've accomplished something that others thought was impossible. You're relentlessly resourceful.
  • Previous experience in the Climate Tech space is preferred (nonexclusive)
