Legal & Compliance Specialist - LAC South Cluster

Your Responsibilities:

  • Support colleagues on local AML issues by addressing inquiries from colleagues and insurers on a range of complexity
  • Manage and contribute to regular activities of local legal entities, such as preparing meeting minutes and related materials
  • Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements (UIF, SSN, IGJ)
  • Handle assigned legal and compliance tasks and projects, including consumer claims, non-disclosure agreements, document reviews, and basic contract drafting
  • Assist senior lawyers with compliance projects like licensing, monitoring, research, data analysis, reporting, and task coordination
  • Monitor adherence to internal Code of Conduct and Policies to uphold the company's values
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance legal and compliance skills, with potential to provide training to colleagues in the future

Requirements:

  • Law Degree
  • Advanced / Bilingual English proficiency

  • 1+ years of relevant experience in legal or compliance (in-house or at a law firm) focusing on corporate matters, AML, or compliance
  • Familiarity with insurance, reinsurance, AML, or corporate law
  • Strong multitasking abilities, adept at working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
