The position

  • As the Rare Disease BU Director, you will build and lead the identification, development and implementation of business opportunities that enable Novo Nordisk to expand leadership in Rare Disease business with emphasis in the market expansion. You will manage the implementation of the designed strategies for the products and ensure all activities the country comply with local acts, legal demands and ethical standards.
  • This role will also be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with the Global and Regional teams ensuring collaborative development of marketing strategies and campaigns with Medical Affairs, Market Access and Commercial Excellence.
  • Developing strong networks and promoting the visibility of NN amongst key stakeholders, to enhance the corporate image and making NN the preferred partner
  • Motivating and inspiring the organisation about the Rare Disease strategy, core story, brand positioning, key messages and clinical evidence of haemophilia and growth hormone brands.
  • Planning, developing & implementing strategy of Rare Disease business focusing on sales and Market share expansion, marketing and promotional activities, Budget control and people management.
  • As a people manager, you will boost employee engagement through performance management, coaching and talent development.
    Qualifications
  • You have a bachelor's degree in business (Marketing, Business Administration, so on) or Medicine.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience in sales and marketing from pharmaceutical industry including similar experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong organisational and people management skills are also required.
  • You have a bold mindset and able to work as a team and collaborate with other departments to achieve business goals.
  • As a person, you are a natural leader with proven ownership and accountability. You are a strong collaborator and communicator, capable of driving conversations with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders both in Spanish and English. You have an entrepreneurial mindset and demonstrate to be an outside of the box thinker. Finally, you share our passion and determination to improve patients' lives.

As a Business Unit Director Rare Disease, you will report to the Vice President & General Manager Argentina and will be part of the affiliate leadership team.
