Linguistic Services Manager

Job Purpose As Linguistic Services Manager, you will be part of a team that is fully dedicated to an interesting and famous IT client. You will work together with your colleagues around the world, to apply, define and implement new and current language quality management processes in order to ensure our deliverables are in‑line with the client’s expectations. Key Responsibilities Job Overview Provide linguistic services to the production team, supply chain team, and the customer Work with supply chain team in recruitment efforts (evaluating suitability of candidates; onboarding successful candidates, etc.) Manage continuous and proactive development, design and implementation of quality management methodologies, special linguistic services (quality reporting and monitoring, vendor training, language asset development & maintenance, etc.) Deliver assigned linguistic services tasks (e.g. enforcement of linguistic guidelines, proactively manage quality across assigned languages, investigate and compile RCA/CAPAs, locale/geo‑specific recommendations, LLM‑related tasks, etc.) Proactively analyze quality trends across locales/content types/teams; plan, implement & own improvement plans Skills & Experience Linguistic education is a must or equivalent working experiences Min. 3 years working experience (ideally in a customer/client facing role in quality management, with a background as translator/editor) Perfect command of spoken and written English Native level of one other language besides English Confident using Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Experience working with CAT tools (Trados, Phrase etc.) Strong coordinating and communication skills (providing training, communication with customers, relaying difficult feedback to linguists) Must be capable of working in fast‑paced, dynamic environment with frequent changes in process & systems Strong aptitude for multi‑tasking & prioritization Ability to follow complex, detailed instructions Strong sense of accountability – the quality team drive and own quality results Attention to detail Analytical mindset & advanced problem‑solving skills Focus on quality and service delivery Life at RWS If you like the idea of working with smart people who are passionate about growing the value of ideas, data and content by making sure organizations are understood, then you’ll love life at RWS.
