Python/Go AWS Backend Engineer (LATAM). 100% Remote. PST time zone The Opportunity As a Backend Engineer youll be instrumental in architecting and developing the core systems that power our innovative legal platform. This is a rare opportunity to join a fast-paced growth-stage startup where your contributions directly shape the product and company trajectory. Youll work alongside a talented founding engineering team building scalable solutions that tackle complex industry challenges. What Youll Do Architect scalable systems Design and implement high-performance backend infrastructure using Python Go Rust and WebAssembly Build cloud-native solutions Leverage AWS services including Amplify LightSail and Fargate to create robust secure and scalable infrastructure Manage data architecture Work across diverse database technologies including PostgreSQL MongoDB and vector databases Drive product impact Collaborate directly with the founding engineering team to ship high-impact features that delight users Shape the vision Contribute to product strategy and technical direction as an early team member with substantial influence What Were Looking For Strong proficiency in backend development with Python Go or Rust Experience building and deploying systems on AWS infrastructure Solid understanding of both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases Passion for writing clean maintainable and well-tested code Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving priorities Excellent problem-solving skills and technical communication Enthusiasm for tackling complex problems in the legal tech space Bonus Points Experience with WebAssembly Familiarity with vector databases Previous startup or early-stage company experience Interest in legal technology or regulatory compliance Track record of shipping products from zero to one Why Join Us Meaningful impact Your work will directly transform an entire industry Ownership and autonomy Significant influence over technical decisions and product direction Founding team member Join at the ground floor with equity that reflects your early contribution Growth trajectory Recently funded with strong momentum and ambitious expansion plans Technical excellence Work with modern technologies and best practices in a collaborative environment Whats Next Ready to build something extraordinary Wed love to hear from you.
