About the Role:
Our client is looking for a backend engineer who ships fast, writes scalable services, and understands mobile-facing requirements. You'll build backend APIs that support mobile features and integrate with infrastructure like AWS, Braze, and OpenCSV.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement backend services in Java 11 with Spring Boot
- Work with JWT, TOTP, and Spring Security for auth
- Connect to MySQL, handle message queues (SQS), and integrate with Firebase
- Deploy to EC2 and migrate to EKS
- Write resilient code with Resilience4j and observability tools like Datadog
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with Java backend development
- Deep understanding of Spring Boot, Maven, and AWS ecosystem
- Experience with authentication systems and microservice architecture
- Comfort working with CI/CD, production releases, and debugging live systems
- Strong API design and collaboration skills
