We are the leaders in our market and are accelerating to extend our lead and move into new markets. Responsibilities Work as part of a team developing in Java using Agile development methods. Contribute to team and organizational improvements in process and infrastructure. Work with the team and Chief Architect to design and build services for payment processing. Effectively use tools and ingenuity to identify and fix defects before they become a problem. Invent new things and create world‑changing software. Technical Knowledge Senior in Java development and OO methodology, Agile development, design patterns, unit testing, and other software engineering principles and processes. Solid understanding of internet and IP communications protocols and formats such as TCP/IP, HTTP, XML, JSON, etc. Senior in Linux/Unix and comfortable with Mac/Windows. Knowledge of Spring Framework, AWS/Cloud. Solid understanding of RESTful service architecture and API. Plus Jenkins or Docker, functional languages like Scala. Computer Science or equivalent experience; 3+ years Java 8, 11, software development, OOD, web services. 3+ years of experience working with REST APIs, Unit Testing, Maven, Design Patterns, Spring Framework, Rabbit MQ, SQL MYSQL or Oracle.
