Job Description The Strategy Partner Manager (PM) is responsible for establishing and managing the partner ecosystem for the Korea region. The PM provides leadership, management, and strategy for all partner types, including VARs, Global SIs, regional SIs, key ISVs (Snowflake, Databricks, Exasol, etc.), and Cloud/AI Hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP). Key responsibilities include ensuring leverage and consistent engagement with these partnerships to drive customer engagements, qualified pipeline, and cloud bookings that meet or exceed quota and expectations. The Focus Manage relationships with all partners in the region and design activities to advance those relationships. Follow up on leads, qualify them, and determine the appropriate partner for opportunities. Manage joint sell‑through and go‑to‑market activities with partners. Generate new logo pipeline through co‑sell motion, joint marketing, and account planning sessions with the Strategy sales organization. Track opportunities, pipeline, bookings, and provide forecasts and funnel management reports. Facilitate co‑selling opportunities, account mapping, and other sales engagements between Strategy’s field sales and partner sales teams. Support the field sales organization on engagement management with partners. Create and publish joint sales and marketing assets with partners. Work with existing OEM customers to review their solution usage, ensure proper utilization, and identify new OEM opportunities. Assist with partner training curriculum content and sales enablement. Coordinate virtual partner activities across business development, marketing, product management, channels and sales as part of cloud strategy. Develop annual strategic plans and performance goals for each partner. Provide support and coordination for channel activity with each partner. Understand partner strategic initiatives and roadmap to provide deep insights. Serve as an escalation point for pre‑sales and post‑sales issues with partners. Build and maintain relationships with key partner personnel to solidify Strategy’s standing and awareness within the provider community. Support partner events and participate in events as needed. Provide expertise and training for Strategy’s field sales enablement. Effectively manage partner managers in the territory and meet revenue goals and metrics: partner incremental revenue, partner influenced revenue, partner implemented (SI) revenue, etc. Job Requirements BA, BS (or equivalent work experience); MBA preferred. Extensive experience in sales leadership—account, alliance, or partner management. Proven experience managing large global partnerships. Strong people‑management skills, leading partner management teams. Strong relationship and sales skills; direct selling experience and influencer ability in partnerships. Cloud/AI hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP) and GSI partnership experience highly preferred. Channel experience selling with or managing channel partners. Proven ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams to achieve company and team objectives. Attention to detail and ability to plan and execute. Strong business acumen and capability to develop and manage strategic plans with partner and company executives. Strategic planning and analytic capabilities. Ability to anticipate and interpret market and business trend changes and advise leaders accordingly. Ability to excel in a team environment, espousing cooperation and mutual respect. Demonstrated ability to work in a virtual and matrix environment. Proven ability to manage multiple disciplines and tasks in a high‑pressure, time‑sensitive environment. Ability to travel as required. Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
