Role Description The Senior Producer, Video, Animation & Content, is a critical production management role focused on the successful execution of high‑quality digital assets, including video, animation, motion graphics, and static illustrations. This role requires deep expertise in the production lifecycle for diverse content formats. You will be involved from the scoping phase through final delivery, serving as the primary, day‑to‑day production liaison for the client , focusing on project definition, status, and flawless execution. You are responsible for translating high‑level briefs and concepts into detailed project scopes and actionable production plans. Your primary focus is management: defining the effort, leading execution teams by managing their workflow and timelines, mitigating production risks, and ensuring the final product meets all technical specifications, is on time, and on budget. You are the engine of the production process, defining the path and driving content execution forward while ensuring the client is informed and managed throughout the project. Responsibilities Project Scoping & Planning: Lead the initial definition phase for assigned projects, working with internal partners to define deliverables, create detailed production plans, determine resource requirements, and develop accurate effort estimates across video, animation, illustration, and other digital content. Client Production Management: Serve as the main client point‑of‑contact for all day‑to‑day production matters . Lead regular client status meetings focused on progress updates, schedule adherence, and managing expectations around production needs and scope boundaries. Asset Review & Management Process: Manage the process of all internal and client‑facing review cycles for all content types. Ensure client feedback is captured, clearly translated into production tasks for execution teams, and that the review schedule is maintained efficiently. Execution Team Management (Workflow Focus): Act as the primary day‑to‑day lead for internal and external content execution teams (e.g., animators, illustrators, video editors, designers). Facilitate daily stand‑ups, define production priorities and manage asset hand‑offs , ensuring efficient and timely workflow execution. Risk & Issue Mitigation: Proactively identify potential roadblocks in the production pipeline (e.g., technical dependencies, resource conflicts) and implement immediate, effective solutions, escalating only critical risks to the Executive Producer. Budget and Timeline Monitoring (Full Project Lifecycle): Closely monitor the approved project budget and timeline from scoping through delivery. Track burn rates, manage scope changes, and flag any deviations to the Executive Producer. Requirements Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in managing and scoping the execution of diverse digital content, including video, animation, illustration, and motion graphics , preferably within an agency, in‑house studio, or production company environment. Client Communication: Proven track record of successfully managing and leading day‑to‑day production communication with high‑value clients and stakeholders, including expectation setting during the scoping phase. Content Expertise: Deep, demonstrable knowledge of the technical production pipeline for various content types (video, 2D/3D animation, illustration, short‑form social content). Technical Familiarity: Strong working knowledge of standard post‑production software and delivery specifications for web, social, and digital platforms. Communication Proficiency: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate technical production details and workflow status to both internal teams and clients.
