Lead Producer – Jam City Jam City is looking for a motivated and skilled Lead Producer to join our team. You’ll work with designers, artists, engineers, product managers, QA analysts, and other producers to develop new game content such as features, events, sales, and visuals. About the role: A Lead Producer is a senior management role responsible for overseeing the production of a specific product or major aspects of a product. They are accountable for the overall success of the project, managing budgets, timelines, and resources across multiple teams. Lead Producers drive strategic decisions, foster a collaborative and efficient development environment (potentially leveraging agile frameworks), and ensure clear communication between all stakeholders, including executive leadership. They typically manage a team of Producers and provide mentorship and guidance. This role reports to an Executive Producer, Product Director, or GM. Key Responsibilities Accountable for the overall success of product(s), including budget, timeline, and scope. Develop and implement strategic production plans, incorporating agile methodologies to remain flexible. Oversee and manage one or more production teams, ensuring effective collaboration and resource allocation. Resolve complex issues, drive continuous improvement, and maintain accountability across the team. Communicate project status to executive leadership, stakeholders, external partners, and publishing teams. Develop and mentor Producers and other production staff, helping them grow their skills and leadership. Recommend tools, technologies, and advanced project‑management software to enhance production efficiency. Manage external vendor relationships and partner engagements at a strategic level. Define and manage team structure, recruitment, and staffing needs to ensure the team has the necessary skills. Skills, Knowledge & Abilities Advanced English proficiency. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and decision‑making under pressure. Deep understanding of agile principles and their application at scale. Expertise in managing complex projects and multiple teams across the product lifecycle. Proficiency with project‑management tools and methodologies that support agile at scale. Experience evaluating and implementing new technologies to improve production workflows. Understanding of the game‑development process, market trends, player behavior, and business drivers. Ability to conduct strategic discussions with all disciplines (Product, Design, Art, Engineering, Marketing, Business Development). Education & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in game design, production, business administration, or a related management discipline (MBA a plus). 7+ years of relevant experience in game‑development production, with significant senior leadership or management exposure. Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects. Working Conditions May require extended hours during release periods. Remote work available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
