About the Role Our Designers are makers and storytellers that use design to bring ideas to life. They lead projects into uncharted creative territories and create new outcomes. They design fundamentalists, but approach projects with a systems and stories mindset. They identify user needs, interpret client challenges, create innovative concepts and define visual language. We’re looking for a Senior visual designer to join the Marketing and Communications team at R/GA. This person will play an integral role in how R/GA shows up in the world - designing everything from daily Instagram content to quarterly reports and data visualizations for proprietary thought leadership. They will work closely with the Brand Marketing team to define R/GA’s visual identity on owned channels and guide the implementation and evolution of our external and internal brand. What you should know if you want to be a Senior Designer at R/GA On any given day you might Execute top quality design work in line with agency standards. Manage the quality of design throughout all phases of a project. Mentor and manage Designers and Junior Designers. Participate constructively in inter-department and cross-service line communications. Work with Creative and Art Directors to ensure design work exceeds client expectations. Explain and articulate design decisions and rationale with confidence. Take an active part in client meetings and presentations. Contribute to the creation and definition of flexible design systems and visual languages. Design and iterate on user interfaces and experiences for websites, landing pages, microsites, digital products, and mobile apps. Collaborate with product teams to integrate seamless UX across digital platforms. Prototype interactive experiences that engage users and drive conversion. The ideal person Has a proven ability to produce cutting edge creative work, and a master-level understanding of design, including typography and layout. Exhibits exceptional communication skills within the agency team and with clients. Has outstanding presentation skills. Can lead a team and mentor junior team members. Must have experience in creating visual interface designs and campaigns for all kinds of brands. Demonstrates a strong portfolio in digital product and experience design, showcasing responsive, intuitive interfaces. Has a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and interactive design trends. You bring 7+ years’ experience designing. Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, or equivalent education and experience. Advanced command of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Proficiency in English (Written & Verbal) Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience designing for digital platforms, including web and mobile applications; a proven track record in UX/UI design is a plus. Familiarity with front-end programming (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and hands‑on experience in building websites and digital platforms is a strong bonus.
