Address corrective measures that may also impact other teams. Prepare fluctuation analysis (P&L, B/S, payments).* Analysis of accounting data and inventory gains/losses for tax reporting purposes.* Conduct research for more complicated tax questions and contacts tax authorities for clarification as needed.* Lead communication with business partners on issue/discrepancies resolutions.* Review Chevron customers’ taxability application based on tax law and business to ensure compliance* Leads, coordinates and collaborates on special projects as well as review regulations and procedures**Required Qualification/Soft Skills:*** Bachelor's degree or equivalent in accounting, business, finance or tax* Combination of + 6 years of tax accounting, finance and/or audit experience Excellent oral/written English skills* Fluent in ERP/Tax systems or tax applications. Utilizes knowledge of work group systems to assist on enhancements and development projects. Preferred qualifications in system implementation (SAP)**Preferred qualifications:*** US or International Direct and Indirect tax experience* Soft skills: coordination/Leadership skills* Analytical skills and critical thinking* Able to adapt processes in response to a fast-paced environment.Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
