Commercial Course Quality Manager

Commercial Course Quality Manager Reports to: Head of Commercial Location: Gloucester based - travel required Salary: £29,523.16 per annum Type: 37 hours per week Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Gloucestershire. The Commercial Course Quality Manager will be focused on creating excellent learning opportunity for adult learners, including those returning to work or education, taking recreation course, and pursuing distance learning. Main Duties and Responsibilities Lead and inspire delivery staff, providing guidance on curriculum design and qualifications. Ensure all staff receive sufficient support for effective and efficient course material planning. Conduct learning walks to assess and improve the quality of learning and delivery, offering coaching and support. Evaluate learning outcomes through meticulous analysis of course records and achievement logs, maintaining high standards. Register qualifying learners with awarding bodies, track progress, and manage qualification claims as needed. Take charge of internal moderation, verification, and paperwork to ensure provision quality. Collaborate with external verifiers, providing evidence of work and internal verification. Foster effective communication and collaboration with other college service areas for accurate data and reports. Communicate effectively with learners, staff, and stakeholders in a customer-focused manner. Prepare course outlines to expand the commercial unit’s income and portfolio. Recruit staff with necessary clearances to meet the learning portfolio’s needs. Coordinate staff, conduct appraisals and reviews, and implement communication strategies to foster inclusion. Generate progress reports for the Head of Commercial, offering improvement suggestions. Collaborate with the Head of Commercial to design suitable products for business needs. Develop feedback methods from learners for continuous improvement and marketing case studies. Analyse the previous year’s curriculum for quality and improvement. Manage online distance learning platforms, ensuring strong quality and achievement rates while tracking learner progress. Support department projects and develop programs to maximize project delivery opportunities for learners.
