Overview Ciklum is looking for a Middle System Operations Engineer to join our team in Argentina. We are a custom product engineering company that supports both multinational organizations and scaling startups to solve their most complex business challenges. About the role As a Middle System Operations Engineer, you\'ll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experience of tomorrow. The role ensures the stability, deployment, and optimization of organizational environments. You will support Windows/Linux environments while preparing for future cloud-based operations. Responsibilities Monitor environments for health, performance and availability Respond to alerts and resolve issues to ensure reliable operations Apply patches, software updates and bug fixes Build, use and improve automation across the estate Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Ensure operational best practices Requirements Understanding of Linux and/or Windows systems administration Ability to troubleshoot issues on systems Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation Experience working with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Splunk, ELK stack) Understanding of networking concepts (e.g., IP addresses, DNS, basic troubleshooting) Experience with physical servers management (BMC, Ilo, iDrac, IPMI) is a plus Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus Experience with cloud platforms is a plus What’s in it for you?
