Sr. Key Account Manager Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: To achieve profitable and sustainable market share growth within assigned key account(s), while respecting adidas group brand image to ensure key account target achievement. Key Responsibilities: Represent assigned accounts internally as an ambassador, managing all interfaces. Develop account strategies and formalize them into strategic account plans, obtaining sign‑off from direct superiors. Negotiate sell‑in and sell‑out support, ensuring alignment with specific Account Marketing Plans. Monitor sell‑out, order book, and supply reliability to meet cost‑efficiency targets. Negotiate and enforce adidas trade terms. Lead implementation of Key Account Plans and conduct quarterly reviews. Set personal objectives, targets, and guidelines; assess all reports. Develop functional and social skills of direct reports, offering coaching on and off the job. Integrate team objectives, ensuring smooth cooperation among direct reports across interfaces. Measure own KPIs and report on customer and competitor activities, initiating actions as needed. Ensure customer compliance with agreements (e.g., OB guidelines and trade terms). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Specialist with detailed knowledge in business or technical aspects. Broad and deep knowledge in own functional area, combining theoretical and practical knowledge. Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: 7 years experience, manager of experts. 0–2 years management experience for manager of experts. 3 years management experience for manager of Admin / Tech Support.
