Public Policy Manager, Regulatory (STE) Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina. Employment type: Full Time. Meta builds technologies that help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. Responsibilities Execute cross‑functional regional/country‑Wide strategic initiatives, focused on legislative and product policy priorities. Monitor the political and regulatory environment in the region and identify opportunities to advance policies and regulations that benefit the company and our local communities. Operate internally to land cross‑functional work and ensure that Meta cross‑functional partners and internal stakeholders receive timely updates on developments, ensuring key reporting and processes are completed. Work internally to obtain general narratives, adapt them to regional teams’ needs, focused on local policy engagements. Propose region or subregion wide strategies for engagement with trade and industry associations, non‑profits, international organizations, and civil society groups to advance priorities in the region. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in law, political science, international affairs, or similar. 4+ years of experience in public policy, advocacy, or government affairs. Experience with the political and legislative process, policymakers, and stakeholders in the region. Familiarity with regional regulatory frameworks and policy trends in Latin America. Experience in strategy and/or project/program management. Fluent English. Experience working on platform policy issues (such as content moderation, intermediary liability, competition, youth). Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in law, political science, international affairs, data science or similar. Experience in government or Congress regulatory processes. Experience working in the technology industry. Experience in partnerships with governments and international organizations. Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese.
