Video Editor

Remote position - From Argentina or Uruguay RYZ Labs is looking for a dedicated Video Editor to join the creative team of one of our clients. The role involves creating impactful memorial keepsake videos and ensuring high-quality video content that aligns with our brand standards. This is a part-time role on an hourly assignment. Key Responsibilities: Edit and produce video content, ensuring consistency in quality and style. Work closely with the Head of Customer Success, with an experienced Video Editor, as well as with families who have lost a loved one, to incorporate family photos, audio/video clips, and personalized elements into memorial keepsakes/slideshows for funerals and/or services. Collaborate with the internal team, the CEO, and the Head of Growth to take the creative lead on editing video content for marketing/brand. Utilize DaVinci Resolve for video editing and enhancement. Identify patterns and establish standardized video formats for streamlined production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver video content promptly. Maintain organized video files and project documentation. Required Qualifications: Proven experience in video editing with strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve. Ability to recognize design patterns and standardize video templates for efficiency. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and storytelling. Effective time management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively with a remote team. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Canva, Figma, or similar design tools is a plus. Experience with internal team tools, such as Slack, Google Docs/Drive, and Notion also a plus.
