About the Role Casual Fridays is a creative social media marketing agency that partners with some of the most iconic hotels and resorts across the world. We’re looking for a Video Editor with a strong creative instinct and a sharp eye for attention-grabbing, high-quality video content. This role is perfect for someone who knows what makes content click—whether it’s a long-form YouTube breakdown or a short-form, scroll-stopping Instagram Reel. You’ll work closely with our internal team and clients to edit both brand and educational content that stands out, communicates clearly, and gets results. Who We’re Looking For You’re a creator at heart who loves storytelling, lives on social platforms, and knows how to take raw footage and transform it into polished, branded, and engaging content. You should be: Comfortable owning full editing cycles for both long- and short-form content Confident in your ability to work independently while staying aligned with brand style Excited by experimentation and always looking for ways to improve your craft A strong communicator with a passion for collaborating and receiving feedback Core Responsibilities Long-Form Content Editing Edit educational and thought-leadership videos for YouTube, geared toward hotel & resort marketers, for lead generation at Casual Fridays Ensure high-quality sound, pacing, and visual design across all videos Add branded elements such as bumpers, animated lower thirds, titles, and transitions Short-Form Content Creation Repurpose long-form content into bite-sized vertical clips for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and LinkedIn Prioritize strong hooks, clean captions, and platform-native pacing Assist Account Teams by editing client-facing Reels and other social content Quality & Collaboration Maintain strong attention to brand guidelines and video standards Support the team using tools such as Frame.io or Google Drive to manage feedback Bring new ideas for formats, cuts, or video trends we should test or experiment with Must-Have Skills Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro , DaVinci Resolve , or CapCut Strong understanding of video structure, pacing, and storytelling for social Experience creating branded assets within videos (titles, transitions, overlays, etc.) Fluent in English (written and spoken) Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently Collaborative mindset with an openness to feedback and experimentation Preferred Traits and Values Successful editors at Casual Fridays tend to: Be curious, creative, and not afraid to try new things Communicate clearly and respond promptly in a fast-paced remote environment Show initiative and bring fresh, creative ideas to the table Embody our company values: Play with Passion and a Positive Attitude Do Something Today to Be Better Today Continuously Exceed Expectations Listen Thoughtfully, Speak with Clarity Embrace Challenges with Resilience Tools You’ll Use Frame.io or similar collaboration tools Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet) Slack and Zoom for team communication Why Join Casual Fridays Be part of a people-first, creativity-driven team that values autonomy and clarity Work on impactful projects for high-profile hospitality brands Join a supportive remote team with structured onboarding and bi-weekly 1:1s Bring your own creative style and have a real say in the content you edit How to Apply Send your application to operations+ with the subject: “Video Editor Application – (Your Name)” Please include: Your resume (PDF titled: Lastname.Firstname.VideoEditor.pdf) A short email introducing yourself and why this role excites you A portfolio or reel showcasing both long-form and short-form video content you’ve edited #J-18808-Ljbffr
