Lead .NET Developer

Overview Join to apply for the Lead .NET Developer role at EPAM Systems . We are seeking a highly skilled Lead (dot)NET Developer to oversee the technical management of a sophisticated ASP(dot)NET application and guide its transition to an AWS containerized infrastructure. This role demands mastery in (dot)NET development, AWS cloud technologies, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication abilities, strong leadership skills, and proven experience working collaboratively with US-based stakeholders. Responsibilities Take ownership of the technical aspects of an ASP(dot)NET application comprising C# and VB(dot)NET components Define infrastructure strategies to transition the application to an AWS containerized system Apply necessary updates, refactor code for compatibility with cloud environments, and ensure seamless integration with other AWS modules Align technical solutions with business objectives in collaboration with project architects and the customer Enable interoperability between the application and other cloud-hosted systems Employ optimization methods to enhance application performance, such as Redis caching and ASP(dot)NET Core services Communicate and document technical solutions for review and approval by stakeholders Conduct in-depth reverse engineering to analyze functional logic for redesign opportunities Provide ongoing application support and address maintenance needs as required Deliver high-quality code aligned with overarching project goals Qualifications 5+ years of experience with (dot)NET development and AWS-integrated projects Expertise in (dot)NET Core, (dot)NET Framework, ASP(dot)NET, ASP(dot)NET Core Hosted Services, and Microservice Architecture Proficiency in AWS technologies like Amazon RDS, Elastic Kubernetes Service, and Simple Queue Service, along with skills in Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of C#, REST API, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis, and SOAP APIs Familiarity with Amazon S3, CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD, Helm, and Visual Basic (dot)NET Understanding of design principles for cloud-native applications and container orchestration systems Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively English proficiency at B2 level or above Nice to have Flexibility to use Akka, Docker Registry, Amazon S3, CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD, and Helm Background in Redis architecture to create caching and performance improvement strategies Competency in Visual Basic (dot)NET to support legacy application components Benefits Connectivity Bonus (15,000 ARS are paid with a salary receipt at the end of each month as a non-wages concept).
