Overview Join to apply for the Senior .NET Developer role at EPAM Systems . We are searching for a talented Senior (dot)NET Developer to assume technical leadership of a complex ASP(dot)NET application and oversee its migration to an AWS containerized setup. This position requires proficiency in (dot)NET development, AWS cloud technologies, and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes. The preferred candidate will possess excellent communication abilities, leadership skills, and the capability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders based in the US. Responsibilities Provide technical oversight of an existing ASP(dot)NET application, managing components developed in both C# and VB(dot)NET Design infrastructure solutions to migrate the application to an AWS containerized platform Refactor code, make necessary changes for cloud compatibility, and ensure seamless integration with other AWS-based modules Coordinate technical decisions with business goals through direct collaboration with the client and project architects Facilitate integration between the application and other cloud components to ensure compatibility Identify areas for enhanced performance through tools such as Redis caching and ASP(dot)NET Core hosted services Document and share all technical decisions, updates, and solutions with relevant stakeholders Undertake reverse engineering and detailed analysis of the application's logic to evaluate opportunities for reimplementation Support and maintain the application on an ongoing basis as required Guarantee a consistent high level of code quality aligned with project objectives and requirements Requirements 3+ years of experience in (dot)NET development and AWS-related projects Expertise in (dot)NET Core, (dot)NET Framework, ASP(dot)NET, ASP(dot)NET Core Hosted Services, and Microservice Architecture pattern Proficiency in AWS services like Amazon RDS, Simple Queue Service, and Elastic Kubernetes Service, alongside skills in Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of C#, REST API, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis, and SOAP APIs Familiarity with Amazon S3, CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD, Helm, and Visual Basic (dot)NET Understanding of cloud-native design principles and container orchestration Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in collaborative environments English proficiency at B2 level or above Nice to have Understanding of Akka for handling concurrency and distributed systems Background in utilizing Docker Registry for container management Competency in optimizing Redis architecture for caching improvements Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Argo CD, and Helm for deployment workflows Capability to maintain VB(dot)NET components of the legacy application We offer Connectivity Bonus (15,000 ARS are paid with a salary receipt at the end of each month as a non-wages concept).
