Lead .NET Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead .NET Developer to oversee the technical elements of an advanced ASP.NET application and guide its migration to an AWS containerized platform. This role requires expertise in .NET development, AWS cloud services, and containerization solutions such as Docker and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to lead technical efforts, and experience collaborating effectively with US-based stakeholders. Responsibilities Take full technical responsibility for an existing ASP.NET application, including C# and VB.NET components Define strategies for infrastructure migration to integrate the application into an AWS container-based environment Develop and apply changes, refactor code for cloud compatibility, and align architecture with AWS-based modules Ensure alignment of technical decisions with business goals by working closely with the customer and project architects Support functional integration with other components deployed in cloud environments Optimize application performance through tools like Redis caching and ASP.NET Core hosted services Document and present all technical decisions and solutions for discussion with stakeholders Analyze and reverse-engineer application functionalities for potential redesign Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the application as needed Maintain exceptional code quality standards to meet project deliverables Requirements 5+ years of experience working with .NET development and AWS Expertise in .NET Core, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core Hosted Services, and Microservice Architecture patterns Proficiency in AWS services such as Amazon RDS, Simple Queue Service, and Elastic Kubernetes Service, as well as skills in Docker and Kubernetes Knowledge of REST API, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, Redis, and SOAP APIs Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Amazon S3, Argo CD, Helm, and Visual Basic .NET Understanding of cloud-native application architecture and container orchestration Strong communication and teamwork capabilities English language proficiency at B2 level or higher Nice to have Familiarity with Akka for actor-based parallel processing Background in creating caching and optimization systems using Redis architecture Proficiency in supporting legacy VB.NET components through Visual Basic .NET We offer Connectivity Bonus (15,000 ARS are paid with a salary receipt at the end of each month as a non-wages concept).
