We are looking for an Import/Export & Intercompany Specialist to join our Argentina Supply Chain team. Based in Buenos Aires, reporting to Argentina Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the logistics and administrative aspects of the company's import and export operations. The incumbent will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure that international trade transactions are executed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will also coordinate the Intercompany process transversally in the organization with functional areas, business units and countries, following strategic objectives in close coordination with the Regional and Local Supply Chain teams, ensuring the supply process for finished products, semi‑finished and raw materials, for both buying and selling, focusing on identifying the best alternative aligned with the strategy to enable business requirements, optimizing plant capacity and landed costs, coordinating the process of preparing Inter‑company offers, negotiation and supply from and to the affiliates. Import/Export Responsibilities Manage and coordinate import and export logistics, including shipping, transportation, and customs clearance. Coordinate the transportation of goods, including booking, cargo space, and arranging for customs clearance. Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other transportation providers to ensure that shipments are delivered on time and within budget. Prepare and process import and export documentation, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and other shipping documents. Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, including obtaining necessary licenses and permits, and keep up to date with changes in trade laws and regulations, assuring total compliance with Export Control policy. Communicate with internal stakeholders, including sales, production, and finance, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods. Liaise with external stakeholders, including suppliers, logistics providers, and customs officials, to ensure compliance with international trade regulations. Monitor and report on import/export activities, including shipment status and delivery performance. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of all import/export transactions. Assist with trade compliance audits and reviews. Identify opportunities to optimize import/export processes and procedures. Intercompany Responsibilities Coordinate the Intercompany process, ensuring service level for quotations, inbound and outbound flows, in strict coordination with the LatAm Intercompany Team. Work effectively cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Procurement, Engineering, Commercial, Inside Sales, Manufacturing, plants, systems, and borders. Identify product requirements and potential supplier plants with R&D technical support. Prepare competitive Inter‑company quotes for products without a price list, focusing on target conditions in the destination market. Manage Inter‑company product price lists and ensure continuous updates. Manage Inter‑company deliverables (quotes, customer orders, Inter‑company orders, transits). Prepare and actively participate in the Inter‑company and Country S&OP process. Manage Inter‑company order entry and tracking to assure service to customers. Ensure deliveries that guarantee efficiencies in logistics costs for Inter‑company transactions. Guarantee the documentation of Inter‑company shipments, validating and issuing said documentation. Handle changes in Inter‑company orders and offers. Support inventory management. Act as key‑user of SAP Intercompany Cockpit (when applicable), managing the full process. Manage KPIs and reports, publishing key indicators to ensure organization alignment. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. MBA or post‑university degree in International Trade is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in international trade, logistics, or supply chain management. Knowledge of international trade regulations, including customs procedures, tariffs, and trade agreements. Effective relationship builder with strong communication skills given scope of influence across the organization. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Highly process‑oriented with empathy, flexibility, and collaboration. Resilient, customer‑oriented, and focused on results. Knowledge of ERP SAP and Microsoft Office. Advanced proficiency in English and Spanish (Italian or Portuguese considered a plus).
