Main Responsibilities The Medical Manager is accountable for the COPD local medical plan under the leadership of the local Medical TA or BU Head. Hybrid profile responsible to lead and plan premarketing activities based on an early engagement plan from a medical, access, and marketing perspective. Strategy: Contribute to the development of global product strategy from a medical, access, and marketing perspective; adapt it to local needs. Execution: Implement elements of the therapy area evidence generation program to meet local business, regulatory, access, and ethical requirements; execute the local medical plan (data generation, scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, medical governance, etc.); train local medical and commercial staff on TA and/or product specific topics. Alignment/Leadership: Manage internal and external relationships within the area of responsibility; ensure consistency of medical content and scientific messages across various tools and materials. Interdependencies: Local brand teams, global/regional medical teams, FBM teams, CSU, Ethics & Business Integrity, Medical Ops, Scientific Engagement Lead, Med Info - Market Access, Regulatory, Marketing, HEVA, RWE; external customers (HCPs, KOLs, patient organizations, medical societies, etc.); MSL management (strategy); Public Affairs & Communications. About You Experience: Medical and/or Marketing and/or Access experience in respiratory diseases (desirable). Soft Skills: Strategic Thinking, Project Management, Judgement, Interpersonal Relationships, Learning Agility. Technical Skills: Strategically aligned medical plan for scientific engagement, evidence generation, insight generation, and partnerships for the brand locally; brand/disease specific local plans, launch readiness, guidance to medical teams; local product life cycle plan; study protocols and other study documents for local studies; goals for local medical activities; local training plans; medical sections of regulatory or HTA dossier; healthcare knowledge; disease/TA knowledge; scientific exchange; stakeholder engagement; evidence generation (incl. RWE); healthcare environment and access pathways. Education: Degree in medicine. Languages: English – Advanced.
