The PositionThe Medical Enabler is a trusted, externally focused, and scientifically grounded expert within the customer engagement model. By building deep connections with key customers, the Medical Enabler anticipates and proactively optimizes medical practice to ensure Roche is a preferred partner in key disease areas.
This role maximizes medical and scientific activities to accelerate pipeline delivery, differentiate the portfolio through data, and drive strategic advocacy and access by capitalizing on "Moments that Matter".
The Opportunity:
Medical Expertise: Proactively contributes strong scientific and therapeutic area expertise to inform the differentiation of the pipeline and portfolio throughout the product life cycle.
Shaping Strategy: Leads the medical portion of the integrated strategy and develops a scientifically sound value story that reflects an end-to-end business perspective.
Customer Engagement: Serves as the primary scientific expert engaging Therapeutic Area Experts (TAEs) and other stakeholders to shape medical practice and ensure the right patients receive treatment at the right time.
Insight Generation: Systematically collects and translates external clinical practice and patient insights into actionable strategic recommendations for the Squad.
Evidence Generation: Develops the local integrated evidence plan (IEP) and facilitates the implementation of tactics such as Non-Interventional Studies (NIS) and Real-World Evidence (RWE).
HTA & Access: Contributes medical expertise to Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions to articulate the value story and secure patient access.
Regulatory & Safety: Provides scientific expertise for local Health Authority submissions and ensures the accuracy of Medical Information (MI) and safety-related communications.
Who you are:
- Education: Holds a degree in medical doctor, specializing in neuroscience is preferable
- Experience: Prior experience in Medical Affairs, Clinical Research, or equivalent scientific/clinical expertise in a relevant Disease Area.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential for global collaboration.
