Corporate Engagement Specialist, Latam and Western S&P Global About the Role Grade Level (for internal use): 10 Role: Corporate Engagement Specialist, LATAM and Western Europe Responsibilities and Impact Promotes CSA participation to current and target customers in LATAM, Spain, and Portugal. Maintains and develops a network of ESG contacts at CSA-invited companies to encourage their CSA participation. Supports the company’s use of the CSA portal to enable a smooth CSA process and ensure awareness of all available free tools and additional services. Acts as a liaison between companies and the CSA Research team to answer methodology and assessment-related questions. Assists with the organization of and participation in internal and external workshops, webcasts, and management meetings with companies independently. Identifies opportunities in LATAM, Spain, and Portugal to promote Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) to increase participation. Utilizes CRM to monitor pipeline and engagement status. Focuses on engaging more complex clients and at a more senior level, identifying the key decision-makers and developing a company-specific engagement approach. Compensation/Benefits Information Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits. Accumulation of 4+ years of work experience in ESG ratings or research, corporate sustainability, or sustainability investing is preferred. Possession of industry or sustainability-topic-specific experience or expertise. Demonstrating strong project management and organizational skills. Proficiency in understanding global sustainability reporting frameworks and trends. Familiarity with financial markets and investment products. Displaying strong analytical skills with acute attention to detail. Proficiency in the use of MS Excel and other IT tools. Mastery of excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required, Portuguese is a plus. Additional Preferred Qualifications Displays a strong interest in corporate sustainability. Exhibits customer‑focused and strong interpersonal skills. Maintains a constructive and energetic attitude. Demonstrates the ability to work independently while contributing towards team goals. Proven reliability and willingness to go the extra mile when required. Possesses a business‑oriented mindset with an attention to costs and efficiency.
