Position Overview Job Requisition ID #- 24WD78662. Technical Specialists partner with Autodesk sales teams and authorized resellers to assist in developing, managing, and executing strategies for closing business. They meet with individuals at all levels within a customer's organization to understand their issues and position solutions while discovering business opportunities for Autodesk. The AEC Technical Sales Specialist will focus on Oil and Gas and Mining solutions and be based in Buenos Aires, Argentina; São Paulo, Brazil; or Bogotá, Colombia. The specialist will report to the Brazil/SOLA Technical Sales Manager and cover the SOLA territory (Argentina, Peru, Bolivia, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Chile). Hybrid work is supported and candidates must live in one of those cities or nearby. No relocation support will be provided. Location & Travel Buenos Aires, Argentina; São Paulo, Brazil; Bogotá, Colombia. Able to travel up to 75%. Responsibilities Perform in-depth assessments of customer processes and investigate, uncover, and understand the customer's business issues. Use knowledge of business trends, technology, and industry changes to identify areas of opportunity for customer process improvement. Capture metrics for quantifying and justifying the customer's return on investment (ROI) for the purpose of technical closure. Work with Autodesk partners as needed to ensure adoption of proposed Autodesk solutions. Position and sell Autodesk's unique business values in sales situations against other vendors, presenting via in‑person, web‑based, or other mechanisms. Influence product development and direction through customer feedback and identified business opportunities. Partner with sales representatives to develop, manage, and execute strategy. Support Autodesk resellers by mentoring reseller personnel on technical sales activities and execution, and create sales content for internal use. Participate in company‑sponsored events and tradeshows to promote Autodesk solutions and the customer business issues they target. Discover customer business and technical processes/workflows/requirements to build a "trusted advisor" relationship and support customers in their digital transformation journey. Manage the entire technical evaluation process, from qualification through to post‑sales handovers (value‑focused demos, pilots, RFP submissions, roadmap presentations, and customer outcome proposals). Document customer engagements in Salesforce, capturing quantifiable pain, technical decision criteria, metrics, risk, and more. Lead and present all technical sales aspects of an Autodesk sales cycle. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years' experience in the Oil and Gas and Mining industry. Civil Engineering bachelor's degree from a recognized institute or equivalent work experience. Knowledge of Autodesk AEC Infrastructure Solutions (Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, Plant 3D, Infraworks). AWP and BIM knowledge – concept, benefits, return on investment, implementation. Proficient in Spanish and English (written and spoken). Ability to travel up to 75%. #J-18808-Ljbffr
