About The Team The Business Insights team plays a key role in driving strategic decisions that impact CookUnity’s overall business health and understanding of high‑value users. Within this team, the Chef Marketing squad focuses on empowering our chefs to reach their full potential. By analyzing ordering behavior and performance trends, the squad uncovers actionable insights that help chefs improve their visibility, optimize their offerings, and ultimately drive stronger engagement and sales. Responsibilities Support Chef Marketing initiatives with data analysis to evaluate and improve chef performance. Build and maintain queries and dashboards that uncover opportunities for growth and optimization. Analyze user behavior related to chefs and menu offerings (e.g., dish diversity, repetition, and campaign effectiveness). Partner with marketing to measure and interpret the impact of initiatives such as A/B tests and discount campaigns. Examine retention behavior across chefs and menu items to identify and scale what drives sustainable growth. What You’ll Achieve In Your First 12 Months Develop a deep understanding of CookUnity’s chef ecosystem and key performance drivers. Deliver insights that help marketing and product teams amplify chef visibility and promotional effectiveness. Track and report retention metrics for chefs and menu items, focusing on drivers of healthy growth. Assess the impact of chef‑led marketing initiatives and translate findings into strategic recommendations. Contribute to the development of self‑service tools that empower chefs and internal teams to make data‑driven decisions. Identify behavioral patterns in variety, retention, and engagement to guide targeted marketing efforts. What We’re Looking For Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or Business Analyst supporting marketing or product teams. Strong proficiency in SQL and/or Python for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. A proactive, curious mindset and a desire to continuously learn and grow. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or similar platforms. Hands‑on experience using AI to improve solutions, paired with a critical mindset to assess AI‑assisted implementations. Solid understanding of marketing, product, or e‑commerce metrics and attribution logic. Ability to work autonomously and effectively with non‑technical stakeholders. Nice to Have Experience working in marketplaces, e‑commerce, or multi‑vendor platforms. Familiarity with subscription‑based business models.
