Job Overview The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing the company's incoming payments and ensuring that outstanding invoices are collected in a timely manner. They maintain accurate records of all transactions, reconcile accounts, communicate with customers to resolve any payment discrepancies, generate financial reports related to accounts receivable, and assist with the implementation of efficient billing and collection processes. Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in financial software are typically required for this role. Job Responsibilities Apply incoming payments to customer accounts promptly and accurately, ensuring all cash receipts are accounted for. Perform weekly reconciliations of bank statements, identifying and resolving any discrepancies. Communicate with customers regarding payment application inquiries and resolve any issues that arise with the payments received. Generate regular reports detailing cash application activities and provide insights into cash flow trends. Continuously identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in the cash applications process. Adhere to internal controls and compliance regulations related to cash applications and financial transactions. Qualifications Understanding of basic AR processes. Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, PS. Data entry and reconciliation accuracy. Financial analysis skills; ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate reports. High level of attention to detail. Strong analytical problem‑solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. English proficiency (B2 PET or equivalent).
