Events Marketing Specialist

About the Job Red Hat’s Marketing team is looking for a Sr. Marketing Specialist to join us in the Latin America region to lead the regional strategy and orchestrate the development and implementation of major in-person and digital events in Latin America. As a Marketing Events strategist, you will be responsible for creating quality experiences to engage with customers, partners and internal audiences to build brand affinity, awareness, and demand for Red Hat solutions, supporting regional business goals for net new logos and account expansion. You will orchestrate the execution of multiple projects, working with regional and global teams, supporting stakeholders, and collaborating with Field Marketing, Partner Ecosystems Marketing, Comms, Integrated Marketing Campaigns, and Customer Marketing teams. You must understand virtual event platforms and support event kits, including landing pages, customer emails, webinars, and coordination of Spanish and Portuguese‑speaking speakers. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. What You Will Do Plan and execute major regional in‑person + virtual events and customer engagement activities aligned to business priorities for cross‑industry/segment and internal events such as Summit, Summit Connect, and Red Hat One. Provide expert recommendations to the regional Marketing team on best event formats and digital tools for virtual events. Define audience acquisition strategy and collaborate with the Comms team to create an integrated 360º plan. Create high‑quality experiences to interact with customers and partners at various stages of the customer journey. Support sub‑regional events (in‑person and virtual) and executive engagement initiatives (Executive Exchange, C‑Level roundtables, EBC on the Road) in partnership with Enterprise Marketing. Coordinate creation and localisation of content deliverables for events, including emails, landing pages and newsletters. Measure event results against KPIs and deliver reports to stakeholders. What You Will Bring Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Marketing, Communications or a related field. 10+ years of experience executing in‑person or digital events. Excellent project management and planning skills. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Proven knowledge of marketing tools. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to produce high‑quality deliverables. Ability to work independently and autonomously. Willingness to travel for international events. Fluency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
