Technical Writer – Client Onboarding and Documentation The Client Onboarding and Documentation (CO&D) Technical Writer is responsible for writing, editing, and managing knowledge management assets—procedures, user guides, contextual help, and communications—for the CO&D teams including Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) and Digital Document Services (DDS). These assets support firm‑wide Global KYC Standards related to the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) and are essential to the program’s ongoing success. As a CO&D Technical Writer, you partner closely with subject‑matter experts from business, production, policy, and project teams to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, concise, and consistent. You assist Exam Management with procedure evidence, manage the procedures portal, and lead projects to improve Change Management processes and tools, while supporting Change Readiness. Responsibilities Develop and maintain Knowledge Management Assets (procedures, user guides, contextual help, and communications) to support KYC policies and operational processes. Ensure final approved documents conform to prescribed templates and style guidelines. Champion and adhere to the CO&D Change Readiness process. Assess knowledge‑management asset impacts by participating in project workstreams. Write user‑friendly materials that meet the needs of the target audience. Manage communications and meetings with project teams and key business partners, escalating challenges as needed. Facilitate review with stakeholders—including Process Owners, Management, Testing, and Compliance—to secure all approvals for procedures. Work under tight deadlines to update or enhance knowledge assets resulting from policy or process changes. Establish working relationships and routinely interface with stakeholders, technology, SMEs, compliance, and other relevant parties. Formulate observations and recommendations for process improvement, risk mitigation, and improved controls. Cross‑train and collaborate with peers. Qualifications Minimum of three years practical experience with technical/procedural writing, editing, and communication. Knowledge of financial services functions, operations, and awareness of regulatory and compliance environments is a plus. BA/BS degree in English, Writing, or equivalent work experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, etc.) and SharePoint. About The Team J.P.
