Traffic Manager

Traffic Manager IQVIA PURPOSE: The Traffic Manager is responsible for managing project intake, scheduling and assignment, and ensuring timely execution of creative projects. Project intake, scheduling and assignment Manage the 450+ monthly project requests, assign resources, and build timelines based on scope and priority. Partner with Creative Manager and similar colleagues across the department to determine ideal delivery of that project (cross‑functional collaboration). Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust schedules to ensure timely execution (workload management). Balance workloads across design, event, video, and operations teams, optimizing capacity and utilization (resource allocation). Maintain and improve project management systems (e.g., Asana, Workfront, Trello), ensuring accurate tracking and reporting (tool and process optimization). Provide regular updates to leadership on project health, resource needs, and delivery timelines (status reporting). Take lead on initiatives from the Creative Director and the Creative Manager, creating detailed project plans and management for larger initiatives. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in design, communications, marketing, or a similar field. 3‑5 years of experience in creative operations, project management, or traffic management within an agency or in‑house creative team. Located close to the local region office for frequent meetings and working sessions; strong understanding of creative workflows across design, video, and digital production. Proficiency in project management tools and software such as Smartsheet, Excel, Microsoft Planner, and/or Adobe Workfront. Familiarity with DAM platforms and systems, specifically Bynder, including user‑permissions management, taxonomy, and asset management. Excellent communication, time‑management, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to shifting priorities. Experience working with cross‑functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
