Senior Learning & Capability Development Specialist Air Products Job Description and Qualifications Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. (NYSE:APD), a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Learning and Capability Development Specialist - Americas. The role can be based at our facilities in any of the following areas: Allentown, PA Argentina Brazil Chile Colombia Ecuador Peru This position is a senior member of the Americas HR team and ensures that the contributions of this role are seamlessly and collaboratively delivered with other members of the HR function. This role ensures that interactions, processes and tools are consistent globally and provide fit for purposeful solutions within Air Products. Implementation of learning and organization development strategy across the Americas Region via delivery of effective Organizational Development and learning processes. Principal accountabilities Supports Global Technical Academy Leads to develop strategy and implementation plans. Helps to identify relevant and appropriate external learning providers for specific learning projects, contract and onboard the chosen provider. Promotes and advocates digital learning and the global soft skills academy with business leaders across the region. Hands‑on facilitation of key interactions in leadership Development, Global Technical Academies, leadership assessment, high potential development and career development. Measures the learning effectiveness of learning and development programs based on a range of metrics including net promoter score, behavior change, skill acquisition, etc. Required experience 5 - 8 years’ demonstrated ability in corporate learning and development Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Learning or Psychology/Behavioral Sciences – advanced degree preferred Proven track record working as a senior individual contributor within learning and development in either a multi-national or large national organization. Experience interacting and influencing senior team members on learning, collaborating, facilitation, talent management, organizational change and transformation, across different countries and cultures with a diverse range of populations. Native speaker in Spanish and fluency in English is required Digitally aware and data driven: experience using different software, platforms and tools to identify and lead learning needs, including learning management systems, e-learning and survey tools; demonstrates ability to use metrics to assess needs, trends and learner efficiency.
