About the Position We are looking for a Delivery Manager to support the successful execution of complex, large-scale software development initiatives. In this role, you will act as a key bridge between product, engineering, and stakeholders, ensuring that teams operate with clarity, consistency, and efficiency. You will be responsible for driving agile practices, maintaining high standards for backlog quality and documentation, and providing clear visibility into delivery progress and capacity. Responsibilities Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, and retrospectives for two development squads. Ensure a consistent development cadence by actively removing blockers and enabling team flow. Backlog Hygiene & Requirements Engineering Translate high-level product and business requirements into well-defined, ready-to-code user stories. Ensure strict adherence to documentation standards, including clear structure, detailed technical specifications, and comprehensive acceptance criteria before development begins. Velocity & Capacity Management Monitor team velocity and track sprint progress to ensure predictable delivery. Provide accurate and realistic data on team capacity and feature bandwidth to manage stakeholder expectations and prevent roadmap drift. Delivery & Team Leadership Oversee the delivery of complex and large-scale software development projects. Lead, coach, and support delivery team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards, contractual commitments, and industry best practices. Implement and promote best practices to continuously improve project efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure requirements are clearly understood, consistently met, and aligned with the expansion of existing business areas. Requirements Strong experience facilitating agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives). Proven ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed, actionable user stories. Solid understanding of agile delivery metrics, including velocity, capacity, and sprint progress. Strong organizational skills with a high attention to detail and documentation quality. Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate delivery status clearly and effectively. Experience leading or coordinating software delivery teams in complex environments. Nice To Have Experience working with multiple development squads simultaneously. Background in large-scale or enterprise software delivery. Exposure to process optimization or continuous improvement initiatives.
