Site Reliability Engineer Observability Lead Responsibilities Create a robust observability framework, including an APM, alarming, dashboarding, event correlation, integrated to an existing observability platform. Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions. Troubleshoot priority incidents, and be an active player in blameless post-mortems. Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases. Build and drive adoption for greater self-healing and resiliency patterns. Lead and participate in performance tests; identify bottlenecks, opportunities for optimization, and capacity demands. Automate manual operational work by improving products or software. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a software engineering discipline. Experience in performance engineering and monitoring using tools such as AppDynamics, Splunk, Jmeter, Datadog and Dynatrace. Experience in Incident, Change and Problem management process in a large scale operations. Experience with high level programming language such as Java, Python or C. Adept in the development of automated tools, systems, and services in multiple technology domains. Advanced knowledge of one or more infrastructure components (e.g. networking, cloud services, orchestration tools, containerization, compute, and storage systems). Linux Systems Administration (Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian). Solid Scripting Skills (Perl, KSH, Python). Understanding of network technology and concepts (TCP/UDP, SSL/Certificates, HTTP, NAT, DNS, NAS). Continuous Integration (Jenkins/Hudson, Travis). Experience with Agile and full software development life cycle disciplines. About Us J.P.
