We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager for our Legal Managed Services, Contracts team. In this role, you will take full ownership of managing legal service delivery, overseeing contracting processes, compliance monitoring, and the broader strategic direction of the team. You will collaborate with KPMG Law teams in other KPMG member firms for joint delivery of contracting services via full integration and a cohesive approach to project delivery. You will lead a team of Assistant Managers, legal professionals, and paralegals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. You will also be responsible for high-level decision-making, continuous process improvement, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational:

Manage contract lifecycle, including drafting, negotiation, and post-signature monitoringOversee regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to relevant regulationsChampion the integration of AI tools and CLM software for contract optimization

Leadership:

Lead and inspire a team of legal professionals to deliver high-quality workSet performance benchmarks, monitor KPIs, and provide feedbackCollaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements

Organizational:

Develop and implement strategies that align with the organization's legal and compliance objectivesLead cross-functional initiatives to enhance legal service offeringsMaintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProvide strategic insights and recommendations to senior managementEnsure all deliverables meet internal and external regulatory and quality standardsTrack, report, and present team metrics to senior management

Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Law5-7 years of experience in legal operations or a related fieldExperience of working in a large multinational or Big 4 accounting firm, preferredGood understanding of contract lifecycle management and regulatory compliance, with knowledge of European and international regulationsProven experience in leading teams and managing priority projectsExceptional organizational and problem-solving skillsExpertise in leveraging AI tools and CLM software for enhanced legal service deliveryExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsFluency in English (C1 level minimum, written and spoken, or equivalent)Ability to think and work across different legal jurisdictions
