POSCO MPPC, a leading multinational in steel processing and trading, is expanding its operations in Argentina and is seeking an experienced Trading Manager with a strong background in the steel industry and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage steel and manufactured products trading operations, ensuring profitability, risk control, and efficient logistics.
  • Develop and maintain commercial relationships with national and international suppliers and clients.
  • Analyze global steel markets: pricing, trends, supply, and demand.
  • Execute negotiations, contracts, payment terms, and delivery conditions.
  • Coordinate import/export operations with internal teams and global partners.
  • Prepare commercial reports, demand forecasts, and sourcing strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Argentine domestic steel & manufactured products market (key requirement along with C1-level English or higher).
  • English advance: C1 minimum.
  • Solid understanding of international supply chains, logistics, and foreign trade.
  • Proven ability to negotiate with global suppliers (Asia, LatAm, or USA).
  • Proficiency in commercial analysis tools and ERP systems.
  • Dynamic, analytical profile with strong results orientation.
