Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Manager with FX Payments compliance experience, preferably with a law background. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company complies with all applicable regulatory requirements across multiple jurisdictions in LATAM.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures for the company's traditional FX operations.
  • Manage existing license / registration and own future regulatory license applications.
  • Monitor and assess the company's compliance with applicable regulations & laws and industry standards and report to senior management.
  • Manage regulatory filings, inspections, and audits with the applicable authorities (e.g. UIF, CNV and ARCA).
  • Stay current with changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices and advise senior management on compliance-related risks and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement compliance measures and controls, including customer due diligence, transaction monitoring,  sanctions screening, and suspicious transaction reporting.
  • Conduct compliance training and awareness programs for employees and partners.
  • Maintain effective relationships with regulators, industry associations, external reviewer and other stakeholders.
  • Investigate and respond to compliance-related incidents, issues, and inquiries.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, law, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of relevant experience in compliance management, with a focus on FX trading, cross border payment / settlements.
  • Strong knowledge of regulation in Argentina. 
  • Experience with regulatory license applications, filings, inspections and audits.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced startup environment.
