Who we're looking for

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst in the Public Markets area who will be reporting into one of managers within the Compliance team. Play a key role in aligning the compliance framework to supporting the teams across Schroder's asset management. The role will require the individual to interact with compliance and business teams. The individual may be involved as required across a range of activities like surveillance and monitoring, training, and assisting in strategic firm projects and implementation of new regulations.

What you'll do – Job/person specification:

Provision of disclosure and reporting / monitoring / operational risk support including but not limited to:

  • Review marketing materials (factsheets, presentations) from a compliance perspective
  • Undertake risk-based compliance monitoring or perform special monitoring reviews as agreed within the company's Compliance Monitoring Program
  • Oversee investment breaches, shareholder disclosures, client transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reporting to the local regulator, Group Compliance and Group Risk
  • Observe CNV and other control bodies' regulations (UIF, BCRA, SSN, etc.)
  • Oversee the correct input data of new clients / brokers / stocks / fees / etc. into the fund system.
  • Perform anti money laundering tasks, including review of client files and the monitoring of Clients and their transactions.
  • Ensure customer information is kept up to date and that missing or un-updated documentation is requested to clients
  • Assist the Compliance Manager in her daily duties.

The Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications you need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, law, or a related field, or currently in the final years of study towards such a degree
  • Familiarity with relevant regulations and laws in the fund industry (Broad technical knowledge.)
  • Interest in analyzing and interpreting complex information
  • Monitoring and surveillance experience/interest.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in teams and make decisions
  • Well-organized, self-motivated and thorough.
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Knowledge or skills in data science will be valued
