Nimble Giant Entertainment is looking for a part-Time IT Support Specialist to join our team in Buenos Aires. Part Time. 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our staff, ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. This role requires a proactive individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, both independently and in collaboration with the IT team.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
  • Perform regular system updates, backups, and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Assist with the setup and support of audiovisual equipment for meetings and presentations.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access and security.
  • Document and track support requests, resolutions, and follow-up actions using a ticketing system.
  • Educate and assist users in understanding and effectively utilizing technology.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized technical support and equipment procurement.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve support services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common software applications.
  • Strong knowledge of network and system administration, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
  • Familiarity with IT security practices and data protection protocols.
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
